How is the terrace attached to the container? Is it secure?
Safety is our priority. The terrace uses the standardized locking system of ISO corners (container corner pieces). It is fixed using Twist locks or high-strength clamping bolts, guaranteeing perfect stability, even in strong winds or intensive use. No drilling or welding is required on your container, thus preserving its original watertightness.
What is the maximum load the terrace can support?
Our standard terraces are designed to support a live load of 250 kg / m²This makes it perfectly suited for typical private or professional use (office terrace, snack bar). For projects intended for public access (public buildings), we offer reinforced structures that meet higher load-bearing standards. Contact our design office for a specific configuration.
Is the terrace compatible with all types of containers?
It is natively compatible with all containers of 20 feet (Dry or High Cube) Compliant with ISO standards. For 10 or 40-foot containers, or for containers already converted with specific openings, we adapt the support points. Please note that the structural condition of your container (particularly the rigidity of the uprights) must be verified to support a rooftop.
How does delivery and installation work?
Given its weight (approximately 850 kg) and dimensions, the terrace is delivered by flatbed truck or crane truckInstallation requires lifting equipment (a heavy-duty forklift or crane). Our teams can handle the installation or provide you with a detailed assembly guide if you have your own lifting equipment on site.
Are the railing and staircase included in the kit?
The basic structure includes the platform and the attachment points. removable guardrails and access stairs (right or left) are optional modules. This allows you to customize your layout depending on whether you want a ground-level terrace (lateral extension) or a rooftop terrace.
