Container houses

These houses were created in the 90s and have become very trendy over the past ten years. They are built from one or more shipping containers.

It is not limited to a single container block but can adapt its number according to the desired size and architecture. It is possible to create a beautiful home with containers and you will have the possibility of creating a unique place by arranging geometric shapes as you wish.

These homes are much quicker to build than traditional homes. Housing in containers generally takes 6 months with 2 months to obtain a building permit compared to 12 to 14 months for a traditional house.

They are also very well insulated naturally. In fact, the containers are made to withstand extreme conditions and are therefore completely watertight and airtight. A small layer of insulation is enough to consolidate everything and enjoy the comfort of home.

The dimensions of the house will be based on the containers you have chosen. For a container, we can go up to 12 meters in length, 2,44 meters in width and approximately 2,6 meters in height.

For the transport and handling of containers, it is preferable to live not far from a port area and not far inland because otherwise the cost may increase and transport may be more complicated.

Storage space

Le storage container is very practical for storing a large volume of goods. It saves a lot of space since the containers can be stacked.

It allows you to store goods in complete safety thanks to a secure closing system. They are naturally very well insulated and are not likely to let rain or anything else penetrate inside. It can also be fitted out for shelving items.

Compared to purchasing or building additional storage space, portable storage containers provide the same essential functions, but at a much lower cost. They are much less expensive than building a storage shed, outbuilding, or even having a prefabricated structure erected on your property.

Containers of 10 and 20 feet are increasingly used and modified to make offices, telecommunications shelters and surveillance units.

If you are a site manager or project manager, part of your work will be done before the work on site and many choose these containers.

They are very advantageous because they are small surfaces that can fit anywhere. Conversely, they are large enough to make fairly comfortable offices and can easily be placed next to an existing building.

You can move your desktop to current projects. There is a lot of movement in the warehouses and the container office allows you to create a quiet space sheltered from outside ambient noise.
