Person locked in alarm
A person locked-in alarm is specially designed for IceCubner© containers and allows the outside environment to be alerted in the event of a person being locked inside the refrigerated container. This device is mandatory for negative cold rooms of more than 10m3.
big bag
Big bags are intended to be used in the transport of goods of all types, cereals, liquids, hazardous materials and allow the entire volume of the container to be filled. Loading into the container must be done vertically, the BIG BAG pocket is positioned there and the goods can then be transferred.
Bridge fitting
Steel threaded bar for CLAMPING / FLANGE two containers at ISO corners. This system works both horizontally and vertically and can be used to clamp two containers on top of each other or side by side.
CSC
Certificate of maritime navigability (Container Safety Convention), they are transmitted upon leaving the factory for a period of 60 months (5 years) and on used containers for a period of one year.
CWO
The CWO certificate guarantees that the container has been properly checked for leaks, that the container doors open and close properly and that the espagnolette bolts can secure the doors. A quality check on the floor is also carried out.
Container padlock
Padlocks specially designed for refrigerated containers secure your container, several types of padlocks can be offered to you and with several levels of security.
Insulated box
The insulated box is an IceCubner refrigerated container delivered without the refrigeration unit, they can also be refitted into a traditional cold room and have a multitude of possible applications.
Cold room for food industry

Positive cold room

ISO Corner
ISO corners are the manufacturing standard for the 4 corners of a maritime container, they allow the handling of the container by specific machines called "Stacker" or container stacker but also to be able to block the container on the platforms of the trucks transporting them with the "TWIST LOCK". Accessories such as "BRIDGE FITTING" or "TWISTOLOCK" can tighten and fix the containers together horizontally and one on top of the other.
Compressor
The compressor is the key part of the refrigeration unit, the compressors of the IceCubner containers are of the brands Thermoking, Carrier, Starcool (Maersk), Daikin, Mitsubishi.
Piston compressor
Most refrigerated shipping containers are equipped with piston compressors from well-known brands such as CARRIER, THERMOKING, DAIKIN and are specially designed to last over time.
Scroll compressor
The SCROLL compressor (English term) or SPIRAL was invented by the Frenchman Léon CREUX, the rotation of a spiral and the other fixed compresses the fluid in the center and precisely regulates its output at a point. Refrigerated containers equipped with SCROLL type compressors are less energy-intensive and less noisy than a conventional piston compressor.

Converted container

Maritime container
A metal box used to transport and ship goods by intermodal transport, ship, barge, train and truck. The container was invented by a road haulier Malcom McLean in 1956 and is now a standard for international trade.
Cremona
The cremones are the bars that allow the container to be closed securely. The two doors of the container are then blocked at the bottom and top and can no longer be opened. A padlock in addition will be even more secure.

Container cutting

Container cutting
The cutting of maritime containers can be done using a grinder, a laser station by our technicians or by you. The sheet metal panels with a thickness varying from 1,6mm to 2mm and can thus be cut. Reinforcements depending on the cut location are to be provided to strengthen the structure and frames can be welded to them which will allow joinery, awnings or any other furniture to be installed.
euro pallet
Standardized EURO European pallet with dimensions 800 mm X 1200 mm, special containers allow the loading of two pallets in the direction of 1200 mm in the width of the container or three EURO pallets in the direction of 800 mm in the width of the container, this allows the use of the entire surface of the container for storing goods. Only the 45 feet and 52 feet can be sized in "PALLET WIDE".
Container cold group
The container refrigeration unit refers to the rear of the container which contains all the machinery of a cold room in a minimal space requirement; the compressor, the control panel and the fans are located there.
High Cube
High Cube is the term used to designate containers whose heights are greater than the dimensions of classic DRY type containers, the external dimensions of 2,70m (depending on the type of High Cube containers) allow the storage of taller goods, the passage of ducts in the fitted containers and therefore the storage of more voluminous goods.
Electric package
The electrical pack is the term used at IceCubner to designate a pack of supplies regularly used in refrigerated containers, this pack includes LED lighting, a waterproof switch installed at the entrance to the container, waterproof 230V power outlets as well as a waterproof electrical panel with suitable protections.
Container carrier
A container is equipped with two doors but some Dry type containers can be equipped with doors at both ends as well as on the lateral sides of the containers.
Container ramp
Ramps specially designed for containers are useful to facilitate the loading of goods with a pallet truck directly into the container. Ramps of different dimensions and loads can be offered by our IceCubner teams.

SAS Gel container
The SAS GEL CONTAINER is a buffer stock that "GMS" large stores are regularly equipped with. The container is modified at the level of the standard doors, a cold room door is adapted so that a person can come and take or drop off goods at any time.
Side loader
The English term "SIDE LOADER" is the name for trucks equipped with a hydraulic jack system to unload and load containers on the side of the truck. Container evaporator
The evaporators of a maritime container are two in number, located on the panel of the refrigeration unit and positioned at a height. Their role is to exchange the heat that absorbs the energy to be cooled by means of a liquid evaporating after being expanded by the compressor.
