Description of the 20-foot container, first trip or used

Available second-hand or first trip, it is the most used model in the world for the transport and storage of goods, also called TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent).

This container is on the podium of the products most requested by our users. Its size allows it to adapt to many situations. 

If you want to increase the storage capacity by half, from 6 meters long to 12 meters, the 40 foot shipping container is the solution.
Waterproof, airtight and light-tight, it complies with all standards in force in maritime transport, at Cubner we certify you of the best quality. 

Le 20ft container is suitable for the transport and storage of dry products, whatever their packaging: boxes, cartons, bags, pallets, big bags, etc. Grain transport in containers is also available with vertical or 45 degree filling in bulk to make loading your cereals easier.

Container delivery

Its small size and compact footprint allow it to be delivered virtually anywhere. In France and throughout Europe, our carriers can unload your container in even the tightest spaces. Furthermore, with a few modifications (interior lining, flexible tanks, insulation, etc.), we can customize your container to meet your specific needs.

Container composition

The 20-foot container features rigid, welded CORTEN steel walls, double lockable doors, and a 28mm thick marine plywood or bamboo floor. The underside of the floor has a tarred coating to prevent moisture and sea spray from rising (a fine mist, known as sea spray, can occur during maritime movements).

A tailor-made container

We have equipped dozens of self-storage facilities throughout France with our 20-foot containers specially designed for furniture storage. Our containers, developed for these activities, facilitate rentals.

We can equip these containers with metal or insulated shutters and easy-opening door handles. It is also possible to insulate the underside of the floor and the side walls to limit condensation.

All our new (first trip) or used (last trip) containers meet the CSC standard (Convention for Safe Containers – CSC plate), certifying and guaranteeing tightness control.
